Congratulations to Carlo Forte (Bexhill) who finished his first London Marathon today, despite his training being hampered by broken ribs and illness.
He finished the 26.2 mile course in a brilliant time of 3 hours, 24 mins, 11 secs, well ahead of the great majority of the other 39,000 competitors and just 13 minutes behind Olympic Gold medalist, Dame Kelly Holmes!
Puts me to shame. Well done Carlo – great time!
