Luigi Forte (1939 – 2014)
It is with sadness that we have heard of the death of Luigi Forte, son of the late Francisco Forte and the late Maria Antonietta Crenca. Luigi passed away in Sora hospital on the evening of 13th January. He was 74 and had spent most of his life in Mortale until a couple of years ago, when he moved to a home in Isola del Liri. The funeral will be at 10.30 am on 15th January in Casalattico. Condolences to his sister, Anna, and brother-in-law, Pasquale and their family.
A new 12-minute film showing highlights from the 2013 Festa della Madonna del Carmine is now in the Film Section of the website. The film shows clips from the mass held in the Church of S. Antonio in Mortale on the evening of Saturday 12th October 2013, followed by the procession of the statue through the village and then dancing in the village hall until the early hours of the following morning.
