The Mortalese villagers love getting together and there is nothing they enjoy more than spending an evening talking, drinking, playing cards, singing, dancing and celebrating together. These sound clips of traditional accordion music (played by the legendary Antonio Di Lucia) and the villagers singing were recorded by Tony Langdown at Christmas in 1978 in Gerry Forte's house in Mortale. Apologies to anyone with a precise musical ear.
