Leo Tanzilli (1929 – 2013)
It is with great sadness that we hear of the death of Aurelio Celestino Tanzilli, who passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Monday 26th August in Exeter.
Leo was the son of Gaetano Tanzilli and Almerinda Forte from Sidmouth, and grandson of Marco and Costanza Forte from Mortale/Devon.
A funeral service for Leo is to be held at the Church of the Precious Blood in Sidmouth, Devon on Thursday 5th September 2013 at 10.00 a.m.
I was a very good friend of Leo many years ago we were tenants of the gourmet restaurant in sidmouth he used to come and stay with us when we returned to birmingham if there is anyone we could contact please as we also were great friends with some of his other family his cousin in exeter and I know our other friend in sidmouth passed away also . Hi Janet, not sure if you will get this reply. My mother Maria Badcock (nee Bisigna) came over with Leo’s family from Italy in 1960. I knew Leo well from the long time my mum worked with Leo.
