A strong earthquake of magnitude 4.8 was felt in the Casalattico region last night at 10.16pm. The epicentre was nearby just 3 miles north of Sora and so probably only about 10 miles from our villages. The quake shook apartment buildings in Rome and L’Aquila so we can’t imagine what it must have felt like for all the people in Casalattico. Despite the terror, we’ve heard that everyone is fine.
